Waxing FAQs

We use a variety of wax types, including non-strip wax that is made just for faces. It goes on cooler, comes off easier, and does not stick to the skin. This will eliminate much of the irritation. We also use a soy based product for other body areas, which also reduces the irritation.

If you are using RetinA you should not wax the area being treated. If you are using Accutane, please consult with your physician before you consider waxing. These products thin the skin which can cause skin to be removed with the wax. Threading is an excellent hair removal technique that you can use regardless of any medications you might be taking.
